Strawmelon female weed seeds by Grateful Seeds are part of the Grateful Seeds 2022 new lineup that makes up part of their Limited Edition range.
Grateful Seeds fell in love with the intensely fruity strawberry terps that they found in the Strawberry Jello from Pure Melt. The Strawberry Jello cut was shared with Exotic Genetix Mike, which Exotic Genetix used to create the Strawberries and Cream F2 so naturally, Grateful Seeds sought this seed stock to hunt for the best possible expression of these rare, exotic, wild strawberry terps. After a large pheno hunt, they came across phenotype 24, which they selected and kept as their keeper phenotype. A quick look and smell of this terp-rich strain shows why as it's full of wild, fresh strawberry notes and packed into a seriously dense rounded bud exhibiting classic cookie bag appeal and structure and maintaining impressive resin content.
Grateful Seeds took this phenotype and crossed her with the Fresca Melon (Zkittlez x Watermelon Zkittlez) cut that's bred by Dying Breed Seeds and selected from Grateful Seed's good friend, @Lachanviere. The Fresca Melon cut was a recent addition to the stable of staple incredible hash strains that Grateful Seeds maintain. Fresca Melon was an obvious choice thanks to her wildly exotic flavour profile that mixes sweet cantaloupe melon and ripe apricot aromas with more acidic tropical notes like passion fruit that blend sharp notes with sweeter ones. Watermelon Zkittlez in the lineage has lent her epic resin potential to give impressive resin production to the Fresca Melon cut. Strawmelon is the product of these special strains & Grateful Seeds selection & breeding practices.
Strawmelon takes heavy influence from the Fresca Melon and brings sativa dominant power to the cross whilst bringing across the amazing rare wild strawberry & tropical fruit notes to the table. Testing has shown us that the Strawmelon is a heavily yielding production plant that yields better than her parents and returns good quantities of ultra terpy, sandy big trichome heads.
Strawmelon recently took first place at the Full Moon Sesh in Madrid showing the potential of these impeccable fruit-rich hash washing genetics.
