Mataro Blue Automatica by Kannabia Seeds
Mataro Blue. This is the variety that gives the best results both outdoors and indoors, easily growing to a height of over 1 metre in both circumstances, although the average is 100 cm outdoors and about 60 cm indoors. It forms large tails with very compact flowers. It also encourages the growth of lower branches, which may produce a few grams of dry bud. The higher THC levels are very evident, resulting in an increase in psychoactivity and a very “brainy” high. The calyx-leaf ratio is very stable, with large, broad lime-green leaves. Subject to low temperatures, the colours change from bluish to purple. It withstands excess fertiliser well and is highly resistant to pests of all kinds. Although in our selection parameters we gave priority to obtaining a rudelaris variety that would give more height, one of the dominant genetic characteristics of Mataró Blue is how short it is, which explains why some Mataró Blue Auto plants may be quite short while others are bushy. It develops more slowly during the growth stage, although it will ripen correctly within 65 days with photoperiods of 12/12 and 14/10. Its Mataró heritage is also responsible for the production of masses of trichomes that cover the flowers and leaves, turning the plant an amber colour during flowering, with a bluish shade if it is subjected to controlled periods of cold. The yield is medium, so you can expect 20-30 grams per plant indoors and quite a lot more outdoors, 65-70 grams or so. The flavour is fermented fruit with mildly earthy notes. From seed, the indoor cycle with a photoperiod of 12/12 or 14/10 is 8-9 weeks for optimal ripen-ing. Outdoor flowering cycle: 3 months. Planting in early spring recommended. ?
