Mama Cultiva by Kannabia Seeds

In 2020 we want to give voice to the women's collective that has done the most for the legalisation of cannabis in Latin America and in favour of self-cultivation. That's why we launched our new strain, Mama Cultiva, in homage to their work and in honour of them.

Mama Cultiva emerged in Chile in 2016 as a group of mothers of children with health problems who required urgent and legal access to therapeutic cannabis (since only in this plant did they find real relief for their serious issues). Generally, they demanded sativa with high percentages of THC and, from there, we set to work...

We discovered that we had in our hands a new truly special sativa variety: a prodigious variety feminised with levels that could exceed 26% THC in optimal conditions.

Also, its complex and delicious flavour, fruity and floral, with delicate notes of aromatic spices, was as intriguing as it was surprising.

The tenacity and constancy of the founding partners of Mama Cultiva, authentic ‘mothers of courage’, are finally reflected in the remarkable robustness and hardness of the strain, as well as in its admirable resistance to all kinds of pests and diseases.

Highly productive, it deploys its full potential outdoors, with abundant harvests of up to 750 gr/plant at the beginning of October if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.

With these genetics, we believe we honour Mama Cultiva's valiant women. They have inspired us and we hope to rise to the challenge.

Kannabia Seeds has developed this special strain in commemoration of the NGO Mama Cultiva, but clarifies that neither the Mama Cultiva Foundation, nor any of its members, market this or any other Kannabia product. As an organisation, its only interest is to raise the profile and promote the legalisation of cannabis for therapeutic use.
